Unboxing the 49-inch UltraWide monitor
It barely fit through the studio door. Full unboxing, setup and first impressions of the giant 49-inch UltraWide now anchoring my edit bay.
About this video
Some unboxings are routine. This one required measuring the doorway. The 49-inch UltraWide arrives in a box the size of a coffee table, and setting it up solo is half the entertainment.
Beyond the spectacle, I walk through the out-of-box colour accuracy, the curve radius, and whether one giant panel really replaces a dual-monitor setup for timeline editing. Spoiler: for video work, it absolutely does.

Creator tip: check your GPU's DisplayPort version before buying any high-refresh UltraWide — older laptops will cap it at 60Hz and you'll never know why.
